Federico Bina is a Research Fellow in Philosophical Moral Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Oxford, and member of the Philosophical Moral Psychology Lab at the UOI. He works on theoretical, practical, and experimental ethics, the psychology of moral reasoning and value change, morality and rationality in non-human animals, the ethics of science and policy communication, and the social epistemology of expertise and trust. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from San Raffaele University in Milan, and has been Visiting Research Fellow in Moral Psychology at Harvard University. Federico was formerly Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Moral Philosophy and Adjunct Professor of Philosophy of Biology at the University of Genoa.
He is author of two books on the topic of moral change and of several papers in journals such as Theoretical Medicine and Bioethics, The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, AJOB Neuroscience.
