I am a PhD Student in Moral Philosophy at the European University of Rome. My research focuses on the implications of biotechnological moral enhancement, particularly its impact on human flourishing and the development of the virtues. I am a member of the interuniversity research group Aretai, which is dedicated to the study of virtue ethics.
Previously, I completed a Master’s degree in Bioethics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, where I developed a particular interest in the ethical and moral implications of emerging digital technologies.
I also undertook an internship at the Italian National Bioethics Committee (Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica, CNB) in Rome, where I contributed to the drafting of several bioethical opinions. In addition, I have presented papers at various international conferences, including those organised by the Aretai Centre, the European Character and Virtue Association, the Association for Moral Education (AME), and the Centro de Educación en Virtudes y Valores.
My research interests include the ethics of human enhancement and artificial intelligence, particularly in relation to virtue ethics, as well as broader questions in bioethics and medical ethics.
