The Minds and Morality Network is an interdisciplinary programme of network-building activities, public events, and methodological exchange focused on neuroethics, moral psychology and philosophy. The programme brings together theoretical and methodological strands of work concerned with moral disagreement and relational moral agency to bear on core overlapping topics in moral philosophy and psychology, drawing on innovative approaches to empirically grounded neuroethics. Its overarching aim is to consolidate existing initiatives, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and position the network as a collaborative hub for the development of groundbreaking initiatives in these topic areas. The programme features three strategic pillars with corresponding activities that 1) enable infrastructure and strategic co-ordination, 2) build intellectual community and capacity, and 3) enhance public engagement, dissemination, and external impact.
At its heart will be the DREaM Space (Digital Research in Ethics and Methods) established in the Uehiro Oxford Institute. This will be a dedicated physical facility for conducting innovative research in applied ethics using digital methods and interactive technologies.
