Marie-Kristin Resch is a doctoral student in political theory at the University of Vienna. Her research focuses on moral enhancement and its potential implications for liberal democracies, examining whether such technologies could contribute to democratic transformation. In her master's programme, she explored debates on genetic enhancement, focusing in particular on so-called naturalness arguments.
During her stay at the Uehiro Oxford Institute, she will further develop her research on the prospects of transforming liberal democracies through moral enhancement.
