Laura Schwab-Reese, MA, PhD is an Associate Professor of Public Health at Purdue University, Indiana, United States. Her research examines how technology can be used to provide effective and accessible support to young people experiencing child maltreatment and other crises. She is particularly interested in deepening her ethical work at the intersection of children's rights, technology, and violence response.
Beyond her role at Purdue, Laura serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Family Violence and the Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare, and on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Public Health and Child Abuse & Neglect. Laura holds a PhD in Community and Behavioral Health and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Iowa.
