Noor Jaser is a bioethicist and doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at KU Leuven, Belgium. In her work, she addresses bioethical issues from an Islamic perspective. Noor holds an advanced master degree in bioethics, Faculty of Medicine - KU Leuven and a master's degree in Islamic ethics, College of Islamic Studies - Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar. Her passion towards the field of bioethics stems from her interest in the intersection between medicine and religion and the ethical questions that generate from it. In her previous research, Noor has focused on end of life care for Muslim patients. Currently, she is conducting research on prenatal diagnosis and termination of pregnancy for Muslims in Belgium.
